Banda kalur

Banda Kalur is a Stockholm-based Forró band formed during the pandemic in 2021. The vision was to play swinging forró music with roots from northeast of Brazil with a mix of musicians from both Sweden and Brazil.

All musicians are well established and have extensive experience of folk music from around the world. The band members want to make the audience rejoice together, to feel warmth and love.

Banda Kalur has already played a few succesful concerts to a mixed audience including the forró dance scene. With their joyous and unique sound, they manage to appeal to a larger audience and create great inclusion.
